Lily of the Valley Music Studio!
I am Catherine Paden, owner of Lily of the Valley Music Studio. I teach voice, piano, and guitar at my home studio in Lakewood, Colorado. My experience includes working with students of all ages. I really enjoy encouraging the progress of each student and individualizing lessons.
BACKGROUND
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Music Education with honors from Colorado State University, and over sixty hours of graduate work from various universities in Colorado.
Eight years of private study in jazz piano.
Vocal coaching and teacher training studying under Dr. L. Scott Martin from Juilliard School of Music.
Guitar Study under Mr. Gene Crout from University of Miami, Coral Gables, FL .
Songwriting Study at the summer Christian Music Conferences
with Billy Sprague and other noted writers and musicians.
Over 30 years experience teaching music in public and private schools.
Serving the Colorado Childrens Chorale as its first Assistant Director.
Volunteering with Hope Academy, a part of Denver Street School as a mentor, piano teacher, and driver.
